The FCF All-City Selection Committee is structured as a seven-member panel. The odd-number format supports decisive voting and helps protect the integrity of the selection process.
Follow eligible Milwaukee programs and identify players whose season performance warrants consideration.
A player must receive an official nomination from at least one committee member before entering committee review. There are no public nominations.
Verify eligibility and independently evaluate nominated players using the official 100-point FCF scoring system.
Conduct the final roster meeting and vote on 12 players for each of the four All-City teams.
Scores guide committee deliberation but do not automatically determine the final roster.
Separate ranked candidate lists are developed for Girls East, Girls West, Boys East and Boys West. Rankings guide the final meeting, while roster balance, injuries, strength of competition and relevant basketball context may also be considered.
Three ranked alternates are maintained for each roster. An alternate becomes an official All-City selection only if activated onto the 12-player roster.
A committee member must recuse from scoring and voting on their own child or immediate family member. Any direct coaching or training relationship with a nominee must be disclosed before voting.
The committee selects the head coach for Girls East, Girls West, Boys East and Boys West. Considerations include season performance, leadership, sportsmanship, program impact and representation of FCF All-City standards.
There is no limit on yearly coaching selections. A coach may be selected in consecutive or multiple years. Coaches do not select the All-City players.
Immediately following each game, the FCF Selection Committee votes for one Girls Game MVP and one Boys Game MVP based on performance and impact in that game.
There are no East/West or secondary MVP awards, and the MVP honor does not carry commercial naming rights.
Individual ballots, internal deliberations and confidential evaluation discussions are not public. Committee members are expected to evaluate independently, disclose relevant conflicts, protect confidential information and avoid outside pressure intended to influence selections.
Final selections are official only when announced by Full Court Focus Media.
